A Parallax View of 40 Years of German Video Art.
In association with the Goethe Institut/ Max Mueller Bhavan Mumbai, CAMP is inviting a number of artists/critics/thinkers to comment upon, add to, and traverse the "40 Years of German Video Art" collection with their own experiences and preoccupations. The result will be upto 12 individual "presentations", that involve 1-5 films from the collection, or not, and may include additional materials. We believe this format allows for a range of opinions, unconventional approaches, and a relaxed atmosphere in which the consideration of a faraway subject opens up a way to think about the territory one is standing upon.
The 2-day screening program will be held 14th-15th November, 2008.
